Cutting Taxes
I will fight to reduce spending and the size of government. By doing so we will be able to reduce taxes and government fees so more people can keep the money they have worked for.
Improving Schools
While costs continue to skyrocket student achievement has stagnated. I will work hard at helping to reform the budget that will provide a better educational system. By refocusing dollars into the classroom we can give students the skills they need to learn and succeed. I will also fight for school choice, where the money follows the child. Ohio's future depends on our children being the best and brightest in the world.
Helping Employers
I want to help businesses who are being hit with excessive governmental regulations that stand in the way of job creation making it impossible to grow. From unfair EPA Environmental Controls and other government regulations, we must step in and help. This is what will help revive Ohio's economy and generate a more jobs friendly environment.
States Rights
The Federal Government is taking more and more of our states rights as well as our personal freedoms. I will fight for state rights and less federal control.
Judicial & Tort Reform
I will fight to stop frivolous law suits that are hurting employers and driving up excessive costs making it difficult for businesses to thrive. I will also fight to hold our judges accountable to abide by the Ohio and United States Constitution.
Welfare Reform
I will fight for stricter laws for welfare recipients. Positive drug tests would make welfare recipients ineligible to receive benefits. I will also fight for stricter time limits on how long a person can receive welfare benefits.
Right To Life
I am and always will be a supporter of the right to life. I believe that the right to life is precious and is guaranteed by the Constitution. While the United States Supreme Court has limited the authority of Ohio and other states to protect the unborn, I remain committed to a Constitutional Amendment to explicitly guarantee the right of the unborn to life. If elected, I am committed to carrying the moral and political fight forward to protect these most innocent of lives!
